I would honestly love if, and I’m like honestly begging for, at this point, for people to stop pushing this narrative of sexual fluidity as universal or making the: “you’re fluid you’re more progressive” implication because it’s really homophobic to gay men and lesbians. It is especially aimed at lesbians and I feel the need to constantly assert that my lesbianism is not regressive because it is purposely exclusive. I am not fluid! Stop trying to make lesbians feel bad for not liking men lol
we’re watching the new season of queer eye and my dad is actually crying over the ep with the trans dude, like he’s talking about his top surgery and my dad is in tears going “when you sculpt marble the sculpture is already inside, you’re just getting rid of what isn’t part of it! he’s just getting rid of what isn’t part of him!”
